Dave has an impressive record of public service. He's been an elected school board member for over 7 years, first in Burlingame and then San Mateo. He served as a Planning Commissioner for 6 years in Redwood City, on Housing committees in San Mateo, on the County's Transportation Authority Citizen's Advisory Committee, on the Committe for Green Foothills, and is a long-time member of the Sierra Club. On top of that, Dave has extensive experience with high-tech businesses, which are critical to our local economy.
But most importantly, Dave is willing to listen to residents' concerns. He pro-actively seeks out the advice of community groups. I've met and spoken with all six candidates for District 1 Supervisor. The other candidates were quick to tout their cities' acheivements but didn't bother to ask my opinion. Dave Pine actually listened to me.
Our future depends on electing experienced representatives who make residents' concerns their top priority. That's why I'm voting for Dave Pine.
